Some of the many areas of criminal law I offer my legal expertise and representation on are listed below. Contact us today to schedule a free initial consultation on any of the following criminal offenses:

Have you been charged with a DUI?
Driving under the influence (DUI), is the crime of operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or other drugs (including recreational drugs and those prescribed by physicians), to a level that renders the driver incapable of operating a motor vehicle safely.

Have you been charged with a Drug Related Crime?
Drug trafficking and distribution laws make it illegal to sell, transport, and import illegal controlled substances like marijuana and cocaine. As a felony, drug trafficking and distribution is a more serious crime than just drug possession because it usually involves the transportation of a large amount of drugs. I have extensive experience in defending clients charged with drug related crimes.

Have you been charged with a serious felony?
Charges such as aggravated assault, armed robbery or possession of a firearm have mandatory minimum prison sentences required by the statute. Therefore, it is imperative to get legal representation to ensure the best possible outcome.

Financial Crimes
Have you been charged with deposit account fraud, forgery or financial transaction card fraud? I have extensive experience in defending clients facing these types of charges. You may be able to avoid jail time by letting an experienced attorney handle your case.

Theft Crimes
Have you been charged with shoplifting, theft by receiving, or theft by conversion? If so, you will need a professional to help you mitigate these charges. You may be able to avoid mandatory jail sentences by letting an experienced attorney handle your case.

Federal Crimes
Are you facing charges in Federal Court? Navigating the Federal system can be a daunting task. Let an experienced attorney help you with the complicated Federal rules of criminal procedure.

Parole and Probation
The Parole Revocation Hearing is the legal process at which the fate of a parolee who violated parole is determined. Typically, parole boards have several options at a revocation hearing.
  • A judge may order your probation revoked. If this occurs, you may have to serve the remaining amount of time of your original sentence allowed by law in jail.
  • If the probation violation consisted of committing another crime, you will also face new charges based on that crime.
Sex Crimes
Every state has laws against prohibiting the various types of sex crimes, such as rape and sexual assault, and each state has its own time limit or “statute of limitations”, in which victims of sex crimes may file a lawsuit against the alleged offender.

Traffic Violations
A Driving without a License violation carries much more serious consequences and occurs when a person is driving on a suspended or revoked license. Oftentimes licenses are suspended or revoked due to DUI and other moving violation offenses.

Have you been charged with Domestic Violence?
Domestic violence is defined as the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another. It includes physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and emotional abuse.

Has your son or daughter been charged with a serious crime?
Juvenile justice is the area of criminal law applicable to persons not old enough to be held responsible for criminal acts. In most states, the age for criminal culpability is set at 18 years. The main goal of the juvenile justice system is rehabilitation rather than punishment.

Do you need an Expungement or the Sealing of an Adult Criminal Record?
If successful, the records are said to be "expunged". Black's Law Dictionary defines "expungement of record" as the "Process by which record of criminal conviction is destroyed or sealed from the state or Federal repository."
